ON JULY 9, 2025, THE AMBASSADOR OF GEORGIA TO PORTUGAL, MR. LEVAN TSURTSUMIA, MET WITH THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE COMMUNITY OF PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE COUNTRIES (CPLP), MR. ZACARIAS DA COSTA

On July 9, 2025, the Ambassador of Georgia to Portugal, Mr. Levan Tsurtsumia, met with the Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), Mr. Zacarias da Costa. During the meeting, the Executive Secretary was presented with a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ms. Maka Botchorishvili, concerning the appointment of Ambassador Tsurtsumia as Georgia’s representative to the Community of Portuguese Language Countries.

During the conversation, the parties had the opportunity to discuss Georgia’s relations with the CPLP as an organization and with its member states, as well as outline prospects and possibilities for future cooperation.
